Simião António Mahumana is a natural resources and agricultural value chain expert by training and experience with extension programs of the University of Pretoria (Post-Graduate School of Agriculture and Rural Development), management of agricultural commodity associations, and personal action as agricultural entrepreneur in production and marketing of agricultural commodities in large (300 ha), medium (Gaza 10 ha) and small (Maputo 5 ha) enterprises. He is also a formally and, on the job, trained educator, social welfare, rural development, development finance, organizational capacity building, and emergency planning and response expert.
