
I am currently employed as a senior manager transformation for the Auditor General South Africa (AGSA). A Clinical Psychologist by profession with a Masters’ degree from Wits University and registered with Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA). Have a strong background in providing mental health services in hospitals, correctional centres (prisons), corporate environments and communities and this has broaden my knowledge in strategic thinking, policy formulation and report writing. Have worked with both adult and juvenile patients/offenders in making clinical diagnoses, psychometric evaluations and treating mental health disorders. I am also a trained professional nurse who has worked in a psychiatric ward dealing with acute mental health patients. I have held various senior positions in the public and the private sector including being a board member for Tsb Joint Ventures. My 20-year professional work experience includes a diversified career exposure that entails conducting of clinical assessments, developing intervention programmes, working in a multi-disciplinary teams, strategic planning, developing culture initiatives, change management and leadership development programmes. Have experience in providing individual psychotherapy, trauma, group therapy, presentation of workshops and working in a multi-disciplinary health team. Have exposure in forensic and psychiatric evaluations. Integrated psychological services in the development of human resources strategies. Partnered with non-governmental organisations in providing psychological services to community initiatives. Collaborated with Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) team to conduct workshops that factor the bio-psycho-social wellbeing of employees.
