Mr. Sixpence holds a degree in Sociology from Eduardo Mondlane University and a Master's Degree in Economics with specialisation in Natural Resources from the same university (on going). He has worked for civil society organisations for more than 15 years in project management, monitoring and evaluation, capacity building and grant management. During this period he has had the opportunity to support and develop institutional development systems for more than 20 CSOs such as strategic plans, resource mobilisation strategy, advocacy strategy, monitoring and evaluation plan using Results Based Approach (RBA) including development of apps for data collection. He has extensive experience as a consultant in areas such as governance, health, extractive industries and institutional development. He has experience in participatory methods and community empowerment with a focus on community scorecard and social audit. He also has extensive experience in conducting qualitative and quantitative research, from instrument design, selection and training of enumerators, tool testing, conducting interviews (individual and focus groups), supervision, reporting and validation of results. He is currently supporting the implementation of the Democratic Youth Academy, as well as the creation and strengthening of the Interparty Youth Forum, together with the youth leagues of the parties with parliamentary seats
