I am currently employed in Mozambique as Workshop Manager for a big construction company with operations in Mozambique and Zimbabwe. I am a holder of a Bachelor of Technology Degree (Honours) in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering, Diploma in Logistics and Transport also hold an apprenticeship certificate in Diesel Plant Fitting done with Barzem Caterpillar. I have 16 years’ experience in earthmoving, construction and airport equipment. I have worked in West African countries performing equipment maintenance functions, have travelled to several European countries performing pre-delivery equipment inspections. My area of expertise is on heavy equipment maintenance management, ranging from mining, construction and aviation equipment. I have worked with different types of equipment and vehicle brands in different cultural diversities and am very much comfortable to work in any environment. I am well versed with different types of computerised maintenance management systems have participated in quality assurance programmes for different organisations. My vast experience in equipment maintenance is strengthened by having started from grassroots level as an apprentice on the bench until I developed myself to become a degreed engineer in the plant maintenance area.
