Summary

Extensive experience in supporting process of financial monitoring, acquisitions, procurement and auditing development cooperation projects and investment projects. PUBLIC FINANCE: Large experience in public finances having worked for more than 7 years on the execution of public expenses as an Internal Control Officer at Mozambique Institute for Cotton IAM, Mozambique Institute for Cotton and Oilseeds - IAOM, IP and support Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MADER - DNEA) in auditing processes and preparation of the Annual Management Accounts. Theoretical and practical experience in public planning, budgetary cycle and both revenue and expenditure execution in e-SISTAFE platform (MEO, MEX, e-CAF and MPE modules). MUNICIPAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM: Was responsible of monitoring the execution of more than 140 projects during 5 years, which benefited 26 municipalities in five provinces in the north and center of Mozambique within the broader political framework of decentralization, financed by the Embassies of Denmark, Sweden, Ireland and Switzerland, in a common fund approach, where the focus was to support municipalities in four Components: (i) solid waste management, (ii) urban management, (iii) municipal finance management and (iv) citizen engagement. PROJECTS FINANCED BY MULTILATERAL ORGANIZATIONS: worked with a project financed by European Union (EU) funds carried out in Maputo and Lichinga. Also had experience working with United Nations (FAO) projects, Agricultural Insurance Prototype was launched in Mozambique. NATIONAL NGOs: Worked with several partners, as Accountant and Finance Officer at IBIS Mozambique (today Oxfam international) in the financial management of AGIR, a Program financed by the Swedish Embassy. PRIVATE SECTOR Prepare VAT and M/22. Currently working at Sweden Embassy as National Program Officer - Controller where i support with quality assurance in all thematic/result areas in overall contribution management
