11 years of experience working in global public health, focusing on TB, HIV, community engagement and Health human rights. Has managed a Global fund portfolio of about fifteen million USD. Julia has served as a technical strategic thinker during couple of proposal writing, namely: FORTE-Fostering Opportunities to Respond to the TB Epidemic, the Mid-Term review of Tuberculosis National Strategic Plan (2023-2030) and the TB data review for the new Global Fund Cycle (2024-2026). Has served as a TB Specialist at FDC (Fundação Para o Desenvolvimento da Comunidade). Currently, she is serving as a TB Manager as well as Advisor at CCS (Centro de Colaboração em Saúde), overseeing the coordination, implementation and providing strategic guidance and orientation of the project in 8 provinces. Her carrier started in Inhambane, where she served as a Clinical Director, then as a Director at Hospital Rural de Vilankulo.
