Summary

I am a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) professional with over sixteen years of experience managing large-scale monitoring and evaluation systems for a range of PEPFAR, CDC, Canadian Coalition and other donor funded projects within both clinical and community-based projects. I have demonstrated expertise developing M&E frameworks and indicators, creating Performance Monitoring Plans (PMP), designing data quality assurance tools, ensuring quality of data collection, data analysis and synthesizing data for reporting, developing and using monitoring tools to track progress towards achieving targets. With strong analytic and communication skills, I know how to utilize data for decision making and to identify and evaluate best practices within programs. Working at the community, district, and provincial levels within Clinical and Community based organizations, I adept at establishing strong relationships with an array of stakeholders, including provincial MOH and other government authorities. I have an in-depth experience working with health information systems, such as Electronic Patient Tracking System (EPTS), as well as donor tracking systems, such as PEPFAR Expenditure Analysis systems (DHIS2, DATIM, DevResults, ODK and Kobo Collect). In his roles over the years he has led community mapping exercises and contributed to a number of research initiatives by developing and implementing data collection tools and protocols, and compiling data. As a manager – with experience managing teams of 100 to 130 staff members – he has demonstrated experience building the M&E capacity of his own staff, as well as other stakeholders. He holds a 4th year in 2022 (almost graduating) Honours Degree from the Universidade Católica de Moçambique (UCM) in Information Technology as well as in second year at UNISA on Honours degree in Accounting Science.
