I have worked as general medical practitioner for 7 years were I was responsible for the service quality management and medical care at Hospital Geral de Mavalane and later at Centro de Saúde 1o de Maio. At Centro de Saúde 1o de Maio I was also Health Director of the KhaMaxaquene Municipal District and Director of Primary Care in Mavalane Area. I was responsible to have lease with local community, the municipal officials and the Health City Directorate. Later from 2013-2017 I did my medical residence in pediatrics. From 2017 up to now I work and pediatric at Mavalave General Hospital were I am also responsible for the Pediatric Sector. Since 2019 I am the General Secretary of the Mozambican Association of I Pediatrics responsible for the supervision of activities, budgets and programs of the association. There I am also coordinating the national mentoring program (activities and budget) on maternal and child health. During all my medical career I attended several courses on HIV/AIDS treatment, monitoring and advocacy which has equipped me with experience in providing ARV care and treatment to people living with HIV, including pediatric care and HIV positive pregnant women, similar knowledge and experience of the PMTCT program, and knowledge of the TB program.
