I have completed my Honors Degree in Accounting and Auditing at Universidade Politécnica in 2013 having started my professional career back in November 2012 as an Accounting and HR officer at SC Engenharia e Construções. In May 2013 I was hired as an Accounting Assistant at KPMG where I worked until August 2013. In November 2013 I joined Deloitte & Touche (Mozambique) as an Assistant working my way up to a Senior Auditor role in September 2015. In March 2021, I was hired as a Deputy Finance Director at MECTS - Mozambique Electronic Cargo Tracking Services, and currently responding as the Head of Finance. In the eight years of my professional career I have worked in diverse areas, such as finance, management, internal and external audit for industries, Mozambican government entities, enterprise and services, financial institutions, and NGOs, and during this years, I evaluate the overall presentation, structure and content of the financial statements, including the disclosures, and whether the financial statements represent the underlying transactions and events in a manner that achieves fair presentation, which include understand the internal control and the impact of the them, review the appropriateness of accounting policies used and the reasonableness of accounting estimates, compliance with the tax authorities.
