
Ronald Álvaro, is a Physical Oceanographer focused on Natural Resource Management and specializing in Fisheries Livelihood Restoration for rural and low-income populations, with over 10 years of work experience in the field of natural resource management, fisheries resources accessible to small-scale fisheries, coastal and lake environmental management. Experience in the design and preparation of social projects for the benefit of artisanal fishermen and aquaculture practitioners, project management and procurement (planning, budget preparation and management, preparation of Scope of Work, Concept Notes, launching of tenders, evaluation of bidders, implementation and evaluation of activities, monitoring of Implementation Partners (IP) on the execution plans). Experience in reviewing and advising on improvements to work execution plans, HSE plans, safety plans, emergency response plans, transport plans and flight plans. Experience of working in Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs); Ability to carry out diagnostics for the implementation of programs linked to the restoration of livelihoods for vulnerable households. Experience in managing the construction of artisanal boats, establishment and revitalization of cooperatives, associations and Community Fishing Councils (CCP). Experience on management of grievance; engagement of community, government and private sector. Ability to prepare progress reports on activities.
