
Ms. Maria Chuma holds an Honours degree in Biology (Ecology Land) since 1999 by Eduardo Mondlane University and Master degree in Public Health in the area of Health Promotion, Prevention and Control of Diseases, at the same University in 2019. She participated in short courses on environmental health, water supply and sanitation, development of advocacy strategy for the improvement of Southern Government budgets to the rural WASH sectors held in Zambia, Tanzania, Delft - The Netherlands and South Africa respectively. For 32 years, she has worked with various national and international organisations among which 22 years in Public Health actions. She also has sound experience in preparation of reports derived from the above mentioned programmes and also on monitoring and evaluation. She is capable for settling high level contacts to ensure the realisation of programmes; many contacts were made with government structures at national and provincial levels, including partnership with other NGO’s.
