Summary

I have 2 years of work experience. In these short two years I’ve had the privilege to work in both the Tourism & Travel industry as well as now, in the Insurance industry. I have acquired tremendous knowledge and skills, continuously learning and growing. Both industries are connected and very much important for the stability and economic growth of Mozambique. Both industries have thought me how to communicate to the various people with different cultures. In addition, I’ve gained lots of skills using systems such as Galileo and Amadeus. I’ve become better informed of Mozambique and other countries touristic spots, different types of insurance available and needed for property and people. Although I am very new to the insurance industry and its various areas, I will continue to learn and grow. At the moment I am working as a Personal Assistant and Receptionist. My roles are: 1. Answer correspondence (e-mail/calls. 2. Organize calender, Office & staff. 3. Procurement for Office goods and services. 4. Purchase and file of Office expenses. 5. Manager of office events (training, yearend functions, meetings). 6. Translator of documents (English to Portugues vise versa) I am currently studying Political Science at the Eduardo Mondlane University. I can fluently speak English and Portuguese. I understand not so well Kiswahili & I am currently learning Mandarin.
