
I am passionate about child development, gender equality and community development, committed to reducing social inequalities. Currently I am attending Master’s Degree in Project Management and Development at Universidade Católica de Moçambique, with post-graduation in Leadership and Social Innovation, trained in Child Safeguarding and Results-Based Project Monitoring and Evaluation. I have solid experience in implementing and managing large-scale child-focused programs and projects, in aims on gender equality, child protection and social behavior change. Over the past five years, I have gained hands-on experience in development and humanitarian contexts, namely: · At Munay Moçambique (2020), I worked as a Social Worker and Volunteer Trainer, training leaders of child-focused institutions on child protection. · At Girl Move Academy (2021), I mentored adolescent girls, facilitated GBV prevention workshops, and worked closely with caregivers, schools, and community leaders in Nampula in gender-based violence case management. · From January to August 2022, I served as Sponsorship Services Division Officer at Good Neighbors Mozambique, managing child sponsorship data and community-based safeguarding efforts in Manhiça District. · Between August 2022 and April 2024, I worked at World Vision Mozambique in Maganja da Costa District, managing sponsorship data for over 12,000 children and facilitating safeguarding and GBV training sessions. Since May 2024, I have been working as Gender Technical Specialist at World Vision’s “Every Girl Can” project in Monapo (Nampula), leading activities across four pillars as Education, Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights, Gender Equality, and Economic Empowerment.
