More than 25 years of professional experience, as a Grants Manager in USAID Project in Zambezia Province, as Grants Accountant and Contracts at FHI360 USA, was responsible for the Grants Accountant and Financial analyses at FHI360, an NGO, in the CAP and COVida projects funded by USAID. I was elected Accountant of the Year in 2010 by FHI360/Academy for Educational Development in Washington (Integrity Award) for organizations such as Nweti, OCSIDA, AMASI, Amodefa, CMA, MozHope, ADPP, Kindlimuka, Coalizao, Kubatsirana Manica, Ophavela, Hixikanwe, PACO, REDECAME, CCM, Anda Manica, Nafeza Zambezia, AMME Zambezia, Kukumbi Zambezia, Ophavela Nampula, and Kubatsirana Manica. In these positions, I had direct supervision of a team of 2 people in the CAP Project and 4 people in the COVida Project. I ensured that all financial reports and accounting records were prepared in accordance with accounting standards, principles, and relevant legislation, as well as ensuring the correct application of internal rules in administrative and financial areas, as well as laws and regulatory instructions. I have experience in budget preparation and extensive experience in training grant beneficiaries in Maputo, Sofala, Manica, Tete, and Nampula, covering activities from pre-approval of sub-agreements to implementation and pre-closure.
