Mozambican national with 12+ years of professional experience in public sector and governance including public finance management, public investment management, governance of extractive industries, local governance and decentralization, service delivery (health and education), civil society and social accountability, transparency and accountability, political economy analysis, advocacy and public awareness, capacity building of local and central government agencies, etc. Extensive experience engaging with senior government officials of the Government of Mozambique - GoM (Ministry of Economy and Finance, Ministry of State Administration and Civil Service, Ministry of Education and Human Development, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Land and Environment, Tax Authority, Center for the Development of Financial Information Systems, Provinces, Districts and Municipalities) on policy dialogue and institutional reforms including project implementation; Extensive experience in government and civil society affairs and stakeholder engagement. Led teams, including as Task-Team Leader for the Global Partnership for Social Accountability (GPSA) - Social Accountability Knowledge, Skills, Action and Networking project, successfully facilitating the process that led the Government of Mozambique (GoM) to opt-in to GPSA, which was the first social accountability initiative in Mozambique to support civil society organizations and government to formally work together to solve critical governance challenges
