Dear Sir/Madam I accumulated experience of over 10 years in fisheries conservation/management and aquaculture. I worked in coastal zones in complex and dynamic environment. I have engaged and strengthened Village Beach Committees with Adaptive Management Strategies to protect catchment areas to allow migratory fish species to reach breeding grounds and to successful recruit. Local communities were able to manage own resources and thus, be prepared to adapt to externalities including vulnerability to climate change. In the aquaculture sector, I work with SMEs along the value chain to work as a Team to set quality standards to access better markets and to achieve their vision. I also advise farms to minimize environmental impacts by adopting Best Management Practices, maximize profits while conserving the environment and respecting the people depending on the same water resources. I promote conservation of aquatic ecosystems by investigating the community structure and distribution of fish and water quality standards to protect aquatic biodiversity. Over more than 6,7 years I have assumed project management positions. Currently, I am working as Project Coordinator for Southern Malawi implementing the “Aquaculture Value Chain Project for Higher Income and Food Security” Malawi since 2018. I worked in Mozambique as Monitoring and Evaluation officer for the “Project for Promotion for Small Scale Aquaculture”. I am a strong candidate to take Senior Management and Field positions and I can achieve the outcome/impact of any organization by Managing project activities and achieving outputs contributing towards outcomes and goals in the framework of the project. In addition, I am capable to conduct managerial and financial monitoring of project and its activities and be transparent and accountable to interested parties. I am confident you will find me a perfect fit for your organization. Sincerely, Messias Alfredo Macuiane,
