
Mr Montoya is an Agricultural engineering with a Postgraduate in Environmental Management, both by University of El Salvador, El Salvador, and a Postgraduate in Water, interdisciplinary analysis and sustainable management by University of Barcelona, Spain, as well as more than 10 years of professional experiences in Cooperation for development and Emergency Assistance. Mr Montoya has worked in areas such as social marketing to improve the health through the implementation of prevention programs for HIV, diarrhoea, cholera, malaria, family planning, malnutrition control, demand generation for life-saving products, clinical services and behaviour change communications that empower the most vulnerable populations, WASH sector in context of cholera outbreaks, refugee camp and communities affected by natural disasters through the contribute to reducing the prevalence of water borne diseases, capacity building and training in WASH sector, improved water and sanitation facilities and hygiene promotion, as well as he has experience in disaster risks reduction, coordination and representation before the authorities of different levels and partners, experience in management of multidisciplinary teams, the management of subcontractors, technical report production and other.
