I hold a Master's degree in Business Analytics from Manchester Metropolitan University and a Bachelor of Commerce in Strategic Management from The Independent Institute of Education (Varsity College) in Pretoria/South Africa. My last employment was as a route-to-market data analyst for CDM. This role entailed the analysis of large volumes of big data which were utilised to generate insights that management would later use to make decisions; these insights were presented as reports or PowerPoint presentations. I have also worked at an Oil and Gas company as a Commercial Sales/ Finance Graduate Trainee which led me to work in the departments of Treasury, Tax (within Finance), and Supply, however, most of my time at BP was spent in the Retail and Commercial departments. My 2-year graduate program involved daily communication with B2B customers, retail & commercial agents, as well as different government entities. I have also been part of the Europe Southern Africa graduate committee holding the role of Social Media and Communications Lead. Our job as a team is to oversee all graduates and coordinate with HR to make sure all graduate activities and professional training run as planned. In my last 3 months at BP, I performed the role of Finance Regulatory Analyst.
