
Mr. Nurdine Salé has over 15 years of experience in in the areas agribusiness and private sector development, agroindustry development, value chain analysis and development, market system development, including experience in the agricultural investment project proposal evaluations. Currently, he is the Program Manager at TechnoServe supporting the Mozambique Nut Institute (IAM) to design a strategy and an implementation plan for the privatization of cashew input distribution chain. He was also a Portfolio Manager at USAID Feed the Future Mozambique Agricultural Innovations Activity (FTF Inova), overseeing all the supply chain management system portfolio related interventions by facilitating the establishment of sustainable and growing supply channels for the domestic and international markets for agricultural products grown in Mozambique by working closely with agribusiness companies to advance the adoption of strategies of supply chain management strategies to foster and strengthen long-term relationships with suppliers, incentivize production as well as to increase the certainty of return on investments. Previously to joining FTF Inova, Mr Salé worked as agribusiness expert for organizations like SNV, SDC, UNDP, DANIDA including the Mozambican Government Organizations and provided technical assistance for the development, implementation and evaluation of assigned projects; assisted with the coordination of program intervention activities and contributed for the preparation of various written outputs, e.g. background papers, analysis, substantial sections of reports and studies, inputs to publications; provided advice to develop policies and strategies for agribusiness development in Mozambique and Southern Africa. Mr. Salé holds a Master in Agribusiness and studied Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources at the undergraduate level. He is a native Portuguese speaker and is fluent in English and has limited knowledge of French and Spanish.
