Dear all. I am a Risk Management and compliance consultant with more than 9 years of professional experience dealing in the private sector and serving tax and legal departments. Since 2014 I have been working for PricewaterhouseCoopers Mozambique in creating a safe and compliant environment for the business and the stakeholders, by managing risks in assisting the needs of our clients and applying the appropriate safeguards to mitigate such risks. I am responsible for the Tax Risk Management in Mozambique. Pertinent to this position, with hard work, persistence and commitment, I have consistently contributed to guarantee a 100% compliance for the annual engagement review which is led by PWC South Africa. I supervise the Managers and Consultants while they engage with clients, advising on what they can and cannot do for each assignment. I have delivered several Risk Management training sessions to staff and new joiners. I have also attended several training sessions on Risk Management and internal policies in South Africa. Since March 2020, with the objective to centralize all requests for assistance on Risk Management for PwC Africa, a SDC team (Service Delivery Center) was created in South Africa, in which I was allocated not only to assist the Mozambique needs but also South Africa needs and in the future, more African countries. As part of the Tax Technology Support in Mozambique, in 2017 I was nominated as Owner for eDMS Document Management System), playing a key role in the implementation and customization of the system which was rolled out throughout Africa.
