Summary
Senior accountant Responsible for the accounting department at RANI RESORTS MOZAMBIQUE, LDA (RANI GROUP) reporting to the Financial Controller and group AUJAN, whith the following responsibilities amongst other ad hoc daily and monthly routines and tasks, across the group entities (Rani Resorts Moçambique, lda, Mozoasis Gestão de projectos, lda, Santa Carolina SA, Companhia Mineira do Oceano Indíco, Luwire & Lugenda Wildlife lda, Fenix Projectos e investimentos): (a) Preparation of the monthly Management Accounts; (b) Overall tax assessment for the main entity and sister company; (c) Statutory reporting according to the Mozambican requirements; (d) Preparation of weekly cash flows schedules; (e) Budget monitoring; (f) Preparation of Trial Balance on monthly basis; (g) Administration assistance on legal and dealing with local law requirements and reply (mainly with Ministry of Finance queries); (h) Responsible for month end procedures for accounting in ERP; (i) Supervising, review, processing and action on relevant financial areas AP (accounts Payable), AR (Accounts Receivable), FA (Fixed assets); inventory and General ledger; (J) Finance Staff Coaching; and (k) Other relevant assignments.
