Currently, I am working as Senior Monitoring Officer for MozMEL, where I am responsible to assist USAID mission in Mozambique, providing M&E support across various Technical Offices including REGO, IHO, BHA, EDG, PRO, and the State Department. My role encompasses leading the design and operationalization of M&E systems, enhancing data quality management, and fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making within the mission. With over ten years of experience in M&E, I have developed and reviewed comprehensive M&E systems not only for USAID Mozambique but also for World Vision Mozambique and NCBA CLUSA. My expertise includes the development of Indicator Performance Tracking Tables (IPTT) and Performance Management Plans (PMP), ensuring that M&E frameworks effectively track progress and outcomes. I am skilled in advanced statistical software packages including MINITAB18.1, Excel, and SPSS, and am fluent in English, Portuguese, and Chissena. My approach to M&E is rooted in a robust understanding of Theory of Change, which assists in outlining strategic objectives and determining the most effective pathways for achieving project goals. Additionally, my commitment to capacity building has led me to significantly enhance the skills of M&E staff, partners, and stakeholders through targeted training and mentorship.
