To lead and direct the Human Resource team to deliver a comprehensive HR and administration service to the project; Manage & co-ordinate special projects within the organization; Plan labor requirements by ensuring correct skills and numbers of employees are on site to satisfy operational requirements in conjunction with the departmental heads and the Board of Directors; Provide leadership and uncompromising standards for ethical conduct and respect for people; Ensure implementation of the company policies in regard to HR, Safety; Travel and accommodation; Monitor and manage the employment contracts, ensuring they remain compliant with relevant employment agreement; Update and maintain all personnel files and records in a safe and secure location; Develop employees through training, coaching, mentoring and offer advice and guidance to ensure ongoing development; Oversee the payroll processing of monthly payments and the payroll reporting’s of statutory submissions and reconciliations (Sage VIP Payroll) in liaison with the Finance Manager; Oversee all administration within the HR department and the procurement process of all office equipment and stationary; Manage the communication processes between employees and Management as well as the Government Institution with the Board of Directors; Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation – Mozambique Labour Law; Coordinate the HSE activities such as Toolbox Talks, Safety control; Perform the change management process as well as to conduct any employee disciplinary action if and when required;
Responsible for the Branch HR and Administration day to day activities at SYRAH Resources – Balama Graphite Project; Providing with support services to the Finance Manager on petty cash management and reconciliation, travel arrangements and allowances allocation; Perform the recruitment of nationals and local employees in conjunction with Departmental Heads; Schedule and organize inductions for all Tayanna new recruits or site visitors in liaison with SYRAH and TAYANNA Training Department; Ensure that PPE is ordered and issued to all employees in accordance to the Mining requirements or regulations; Monitor and manage the employment contracts, ensuring they remain compliant with relevant employment agreement; Update and maintain all personnel files and records in a safe and secure location; Responsible for the accommodation and food provision to the resident and nonresident Staff; Prepare and manage the Company’s Payroll system (Sage VIP Payroll) in liaison with the Finance Manager; Manage the INSS & IRPS schemes to ensure compliance with the law; Manage the communication processes between employees and Management; Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation – Mozambique Labour Law; Manage the company patrimony and its inventory, Office Management (furniture and consumables) ensuring better working conditions are in place and the office equipment is in order; Conduct and assist with any employee disciplinary action as required; Monitor the Documentation Control, - Coordinate the communication between the Client and TAYANNA regarding Mining Operations and Construction Projects - receiving and filing; Liaise with Cabo Delgado’s Government Institutions on behalf of the TAYANNA to ensure the correct interaction between both parties; Producing the HR monthly reports: a) Machine VS Operators; b) Man Hours

Responsible for the Fields Department’s HR and Administration tasks at Sena Sugar Estate – Marromeu Sugar Project; Undertake analysis of critical monthly statistics and financial results and provide strategic solutions to improve outcomes within the Agriculture Department; Develop and implement divisional budget planning in support of the Agricultural strategy; Recruit and select employees (Fields General Workers & Section Clerks/Timekeepers) as per the budget to ensure business targets are met in conjunction with Departmental Heads; Participate in applicant interviews, conduct reference checks on potential candidates; Ensure that PPE is ordered and issued to all employees in accordance to the Mining requirements or regulations; Monitor and manage the employment contracts, ensuring they remain compliant with relevant employment agreement; Oversee the employees master files and maintain all personnel files and records in a safe and secure location in the Zone Offices and in Main Agriculture Department’s Office; Responsible for the zone offices and camps including food provision to the cane cutters; Ensure a proper time keeping is carried out for Salary purposes and monitor the Agricultural Payroll Section (Time sheets: Absenteeism, Over time, Leaves, Control); Prepare the monthly time sheets and ensuring the accuracy and submit them to the Payroll Administrator for the monthly payments (Salaries and Wages); Manage the communication processes between employees and Management; Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation – Mozambique Labour Law; Manage the Department patrimony and its inventory, office equipment maintenance planning, ensuring a smooth run of the statistical, Administration and Human Resources services; Conduct and assist with any employee disciplinary action as required;
