
• Conducted the negotiation and executed a US$ 10 billion LNG SPA HOA with a major Asian oil and gas company for a Brazilian IPP over 25 years (Annual quantity at 54.4 TBTU); • Conceived and negotiated the setting up of a fertilizer plant in Mozambique with a Japanese trading company, which entailed a long-term Gas SPA. Natural Gas feedstock was to be originated from the Rovuma gas fields (170TCF) as a satellite project of the 20 MTPY LNG plant complexes, currently being erected in the country. • Conceived and negotiated the setting up of a gas-fired power plant project in Maputo (Mozambique), which entailed a long-term Gas SPA. Natural Gas feedstock was to be originated from the operating Temane and Pande fields (3TCF). This Gas SPA was successfully executed on a back-to-back scheme with a long term Power Purchase Agreement drafted to fulfill VALE mining power demand (90MW) in Tete region. • Conceived and negotiated the setting up of two iron ore pelletizing plant project in Oman and Malaysia, which entailed 2 long-term Gas SPA. Natural Gas feedstock was to be originated from the several gas fields of the local Oil & Gas majors for 20+ years. The Oman Gas SPA (0.3TCF) was successfully executed and the iron ore pelletizing plant has been operating profitably for more than 5 years now. • Conceived and negotiated the setting up of captive 300MW gas-fired power plants in Sulawesi, Indonesia, which entailed 20-year Gas SPA. Natural Gas feedstock was to be originated from expansion of the Donggi-Senoro LNG, located 100km far from the power plant projects, designed to support the expansion of the world´s biggest nickel mine. Based on offtaker’s risk management decision, additional sources of the molecule were also negotiated via farm-in/farm-out in nearby gas exploration blocks from Niko Resources. (CV attached)
