
I have more than 12 years’ working experience in administrative supervision of support staff, Human Resources management, procurement, imprest review, monitoring budgets and assets management among others in my previous and current positions as Station Administrator at IITA-Mozambique. I strongly believe that my experiences during the past 12 years have provided me the knowledge and skills i need. From 2010 to present, I have managed the IITA Mozambique station as Station Administrator. I supervised all support service, staff including station accountants, administrative assistants and drivers. I assisted all procurement processes and also supported the Country Representative of the station in liaising with the Mozambique government officials and relevant agencies in terms of Memorandum of Understanding, Tax exemptions, visas, residence permits for IRS and subcontract agreements among others. During this period, I have prepared, managed and monitored the station’s operating and capital budgets and strengthened the internal control measures. I also provided administrative support to more than10 different R4D projects including Platform Mozambique, UPOCA, TL II, CIDA project on symbiosis and soybean rust, CFC, Miracle, Aflasafe, SEMEAR and Anadarko/Total Agricultural subsistence program with IITA in Palma, SWEF Project with Austrian Development Agency (ADA). Before these, from 2009 to 2010, I worked for IITA-Mozambique as Secretary providing general assistance to the Regional Director. I also worked at World Relief international as employment promoter, marketing and sales officer and other communication programs from 2007to 2008. I have 13 years of work experience in non-profit organizations, almost 11 years of which was in senior positions. I have developed excellent interpersonal skills through my past experiences and have the skills to interact professionally with government officials and partners
