Team Leader

BlueSky Travel Management is hiring a Team Leader for Maputo.

Duties

• To manage the day to day operations of the travel agency, with a special focus on direct sales. Strive to achieve sales targets. Conduct agent briefings, coach agents and ensure service levels are met
• Ensure that customer profiles are created and post trip feedback obtained
• Manage the operational and financial activities of the travel agency to include: staffing levels, budgets, and financial goals
• Plan and develop systems and procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the department
• Analyze and document business processes and problems. Develop solutions to enhance efficiencies
• Maintains sales momentum and place a strong focus on volume/ distribution growth
• Supervise staff in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Establish employee goals and conduct employee performance reviews
• Responsible for staff scheduling
• Other responsibilities related to the position

Requisites

• University Diploma in Travel and Tourisme or in Management
• At least 5 years experience in the Travel and Tourism industry, preferably in a Travel Agency
• Good IT skills
• Excellent oral and written communication in English
• Strong personality and interpersonal communication skills
• Sound leadership capabilities
