We are looking for a General Manager for an established Field Marketing business in Mozambique.
Duties
Define growth strategy for the business within Mozambique and surrounding territories
Manage and grow existing accounts
Establish, develop and manage new business opportunities and relationships in areas including but not limited to Government, SME and Corporate, while ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and growth objectives
Introduce new products, services and technologies in line with Business Development goals
Implement and oversee training and development strategies with existing and new employees
Ensure achievement of sales revenues and acquisition targets on a consistent basis in line with defined budgets and the setting of KPIs and performance targets
Lead implementation programs and initiatives to deliver continuous improvements in the end-to-end customer experience to increase customer loyalty, advocacy and ensuring timely resolution of customer issues within SLAs and customer expectations, providing a consistent customer experience
Lead and oversee field marketing activities in the region ensuring performance, increased visibility and equity of the Company brand, improved reporting, improved relationships with all stakeholders leading to increased growth in target markets
Key Performance Objectives include Business Development, Operational Management, People Management, Customer Care, Cost & Budget Management, Health and Safety Compliance
Requisites
Minimum 8 years current experience as a Business Unit Manager or Manager with an established Field Marketing Company covering Field and Retail Marketing, Operations and People Management, Start Up Accounts and New Business procedures (Not Negotiable)
Post Grad Degree Qualification in Marketing and or Business Management
Minimum 8 years relevant experience
5 years in management
Portuguese and English fluency essential
Experience in High Tech and FMCG industry
Telecommunications experience advantageous
Proven track record of gaining market share in a competitive market environment
Portuguese speaking advantageous
