Database Administrator

Duties

• Installation, configuration and maintenance (Central System Database and Servers, De-centralized System Database, Workstations)
• Upgrade database and software to new release levels
• Manage database storage structures, tablespaces, files and logs
• Manage database backups, users and licenses
• System documentation
• Database optimization and tunning
• Service interventions for preventive and correctional database and network related topics
• Support internal departments and the customers on database and network related issues
• Training and support of customer Engineers

Requisites

• Degree in the field of Applied Computer Science or Pratical Experience
• Experienced knowledge on (Oracle Database (deep),PostgreSQL (would be advantage), Database Management Systems, Operating Systems (Microsoft and others), IT Network)
• Oracle Business Intelligence
• Conversational skills, wiilingness to learn and independent approach to work
• Flexibility and accuracy
• Team player
