CONTACT is recruiting a Site Administrative & Logistics Coordinator, to be based in Afungi, Cabo Delgado, Mozambique.
Duties
- Reporting directly to the Senior Territorial Development Manager and the Social Performance Vice President, the main activities of the function include:
- To organize and manage logistics (land, air and sea) for site teams, partners, and visitors, including transport, accommodation, and site access;
- To plan and coordinate travel arrangements for teams and international visitors, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions; to liaise daily with security to implement the journey management plan and ensure safe site operations;
- To oversee rotation schedules and assist with logistics planning for staff rotations;
- To maintain and update personnel onboard (POB) spreadsheets, bedding plans, and office layouts to ensure accurate workforce tracking;
- Collect signatures for timesheets and expense claims, and manage document flow (entry, exit, forwarding, filing);
- Provide administrative support by scheduling meetings, drafting agendas, and recording minutes;
- To liaise with social performance, local content, Mozambique LNG foundation, and biofuel teams to support their operational needs;
- To organize and support community meetings and events, including arranging transportation for participants;
- Maintain a database of site´s location district statistics and key stakeholder contacts;
- To oversee petty cash and ensure timely payments for goods and services;
- Coordinate with procurement to achieve local content objectives and with finance to track invoice status;
- Champion HSE compliance by supporting SED teams in implementing health, safety, and environmental policies;
- To ensure all logistics and administrative activities adhere to internal policies, legislative, and international requirements; to support e-register summaries and EIPO activities;
- To organize and deliver field team takeaways as required.
Requisites
- Grade 12 or equivalent is required;
- A University degree would be preferred;
- Minimum of two years of experience in administrative support, ideally within the extractive industry;
- Fluency in English and Portuguese (written and spoken);
- Proficiency in report writing, both in English and Portuguese;
- Strong negotiation and conflict management skills;
- Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship skills;
- Mozambican Nationality.
