Sparc Systems, Lda is recruiting a Technical Sales Engineer, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.

Duties
  • Identifying and establishing new business opportunities with potential and existing customers
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and design tailored solutions and services
  • Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our products and services
  • Act as a technical expert during pre-sales engagements, addressing customer inquiries and concerns
  • Analyze customer needs and align them with appropriate products and solutions
  • Work closely with clients to gather technical requirements and provide guidance on product configurations
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of our product offering and communicate its value proposition effectively to customers
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Provide feedback from customer interactions to help improve product features and functionality
  • Assist customers in troubleshooting technical issues and coordinate with the support team to ensure prompt resolution
  • Serve as a point of contact for customers post-sale, building and maintaining strong relationships
Requisites
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Certifications in relevant technologies such as Microsoft and IBM are a plus
  • Experience in technical sales or a similar customer-facing role
  • 2 of years n-depth knowledge of Microsoft technologies, Replication systems, virtualization and cloud computing
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Portuguese is required
  • Ability to understand and translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
