Quality Control Inspector

Duties

• Inspect and test raw materials, packaging, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality and safety specifications
• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to HACCP, GMP, and hygiene standards
• Manage the laboratory needs and inventory for utilities and consumables
• Identify, document, and escalate any non-conformances or deviations from specifications
• Be involved throughout the production process
• Ensure proper labelling and segregation of non-conforming products
• Daily, weekly and monthly planning and reporting
• Accuracy analytical test and delivery timely to all key stakeholders
• SOP review, training and implement continuous improvement process
• Drive Laboratory efficiency and controls
• Achieve high quality standards and contribute to maximizing product value

Requisites

• Educational Attainment:
• Analytical Chemistry Course – Industrial Institute or any other relevant field
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in a reputable company, preferably with FMCG food Industry
• Skills:
• Good knowledge in chemical analysis and safe food management and safety standards
• Good communication skills, collaborative and agile
• MS excel domain and Outlook.
• Bilingual (English & Portuguese)
• Data analysis, reporting, customer acumen and market analysis
• Organized, open minded, flexible and team player
• Team management
• Training:
• Other and relevant professional qualifications
• Knowledge of safety, ISO standards, Food safety training and others relevant certifications for the role
