RSM is recruiting a Human Capital Consultant, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Description
  • We are looking for a Human Capital Consultant to join our team in Maputo. The ideal candidate will have experience in HR consulting and a strong background in human capital management, including recruitment, talent assessment, training, and compensation strategies
  • The role involves providing technical and operational support in the development of HR management tools and the implementation of strategic human capital processes. The consultant will work closely with clients to design and execute customized HR solutions that align with their business goals
Duties
  • Manage Recruitment & Selection processes, including:
  • Designing job descriptions
  • Posting and advertising job vacancies
  • Screening and headhunting candidates
  • Conducting pre-assessments to evaluate candidates
  • Adapting and applying assessment tools
  • Conducting competency-based interviews and group dynamics
  • Preparing individual assessment reports and final recruitment reports
  • Conduct Potential Assessments, including adapting assessment tools, conducting interviews, and preparing evaluation reports.
  • Support the development and implementation of training programs, including:
  • Conducting organizational diagnostics
  • Designing training materials
  • Facilitating team-building activities
  • Design and review HR policies and frameworks, including:
  • Internal regulations
  • Job descriptions and competency dictionaries
  • Career progression models
  • Assist in the development of compensation strategies, including salary benchmarking, pay equity analysis, and customized compensation plans
  • Support the preparation of technical proposals for clients by conducting research and providing analytical insights
  • Execute other HR-related consulting projects as needed
Requisites
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3 to 4 years of experience in HR consulting, preferably in a structured consulting environment
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory
  • Strong knowledge of HR management systems and processes
  • Expertise in recruitment tools, assessment methodologies, and talent management
  • Ability to design and execute HR strategies aligned with business needs
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, teamwork, and client orientation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic work environments
