CONTACT is recruiting a Human Resources Operations Coordinator, to be based in Maputo, Mozambique.
Duties
- Reporting to the HR Operations Manager and the HR Manager, the main activities of the Human Resources Operations Coordinator are to: review and update HR policies and procedures related to his or her area of impact to ensure adherence with applicable laws and regulations as well company goals
- Serve as primary point of contact for on/offboarding activities on behalf of the Company´s project; develops, updates and maintains necessary email templates, checklists, manager guides, training materials and other related communications utilized in the Company's project on/offboarding process
- Contribute with the design and support the day-to-day execution of Site project on/offboarding strategy for Mozambique and other Project locations; coordinates all HR Operations activities related expatriate administration for expatriates and mobility of expatriates, TEPMA1 staff for international and domestic assignments
- Coordinates with other HR teams to ensure delivery of work and managers third party providers such as expatriate settle-in services, background check providers by acting as a contact and managing relationship to ensure timely delivery of associated services according to agreed requirements
- Coordinates all HR operations activities regarding mobility of staff and contractors assigned to the project making necessary updates in HR4U, Ideal, etc. in collaboration with staffing and planning and systems teams
- Contribute to HR projects by providing expertise and recommending potential continuous improvement opportunities; provide leadership and mentoring for less experienced staff under his/her supervision
Requisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Human Resources, Economics, Organizational Psychology, Sociology, or related
- At least four (4) years of human resources experience in a generalist, recruiting, onboarding, or similar position
- Proficient computer skills with applications such as MS Office Suite, HR4U and/or SAP
- Acute sense of timing to meeting and/or exceeding delivery expectations
- Appropriate sense of urgency
- Excellent customer service skills and presence to build successful project relationships
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, recruiters, executives, new hires / new team members
- Organized with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Respect and manage confidential information
