Specialist Commercial (m/f)

Duties

• Lead the commercial track for a portfolio of capital projects usually from define through to close-out
• Lead project team in the identification and selection of suitable Service Providers. Manage implementation of contracting strategies, as well as negotiation and awarding of contracts
• Ensure and maintain effective contract administration principles. Tracking of changes and compensation evets, early warnings, defects notices etc., overseeing all aspects of contract management and contract change management
• Advance performance in project execution through reviewing and acting proactively and correctively on leading and lagging indicators respectively
• Maintaining compliance of Service Providers with the terms and conditions of the overarching and enabling agreements, such as the PLA
• Oversight, reporting and review of project execution changes. Compiles capital project commercial reports
• Maintain long-term organizational relationships between Sasol and Service Providers
• React proactively to changes in the external environment that impact commercial deliverables and coordinate efforts to manage the change accordingly
• Collect, analyze and provide information relevant to any dispute and propose remedies

Requisites

• University Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/Engineering/Law
• 6+ years relevant experience
