Description
- The U.S. Mission in Maputo/Mozambique is seeking two eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Residential Security Alarm Technician
Duties
- Incumbent provides administrative oversight of post's residential security program. Serves as the point of contact on all residential security matters between the Residential Security Office (RSO), General Service Office (GSO), Facilities Maintenance (FAC), contractors, and landlords
- Conducts security surveys of all current housing to ensure residential security standards are maintained and conducts security surveys on all proposed housing to ensure security suitability can be obtained and compliance with the Overseas Security Policy Board’s (OSPB) standards before occupancy
- Manages and oversees all technical and construction work (fabrication, installation, and repairs) associated with physical security countermeasures (perimeter security walls and fencing, door and window grilles, alarm systems, etc.)
