Adra Mozambique is recruiting a Skill Development Specialist (m/f), to be based in Pemba, Mozambique.
Duties
- Person responsible for evaluate vulnerable households needs, capacity and opportunities for training
 
- This person will be in charge on designing trainings packages and provide do the train
 
- He/She will also do strategically planning and implementation of programmatic activities from the component of Capacity Building for vulnerable program committees
 
Requisites
- Bachelor degree or higher in a relevant field including business management, resilience, economics, agronomy, entrepreneur, international development or related area
 
- Demonstrated ability to develop community capacity to improve livelihood and become more resilience to socioeconomic changes
 
- Ability to create and maintain effective working relations with communities
 
- At least 8 years of experience strengthen communities capacities, specific vulnerable people
 
- Strong oral and written communication skills in Portuguese and English
 
- Be fluent in at least 2-3 of the following local languages Kiswalhili, Kimwani, Chimakonde, or Kimakwé is an advantage
 
- In-depth technical expertise on assessment of household capabilities by indent the gaps and designing training packages to improve household livelihoods
 
- Demonstrated experience in assessing vulnerable people needs and design appropriate interventions to address the needs
 
- Practical experience in community participation approaches, tools as well feedback mechanisms
 
- Experience in mentoring, coaching, and skills transfer
 
- Experience working with private sector projects and deep knowledge in HSE
 
- Strong English-language and Portuguese communication skills, both interpersonal and written
