IT Superintendent (m/f) 

Duties

• Work with the IT Manager to develop plans and coordinate all Project IT activity in line with Company requirements
• Manage the helpdesk and mentor the IT Desktop Support Officers and coordinate their day to day activities in line with the requirements of the IT Manager
• Identify IT system inefficiencies and implement strategies to address
• Liaise with key project personnel to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
• Determine sources of Wi-Fi, Internet, or server problems, and alert the IT Manager. Take appropriate action where directed to correct such problems
• Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements. Work with the IT Manager to fulfill these needs
• Provide staff and users with IT equipment assistance and troubleshooting
• Develop, implement and manage user help systems such as FAQ articles and guides
• Manage and maintain the IT Inventory and Asset Register
• Analyze and report computer network security breaches or attempted breaches and work with the IT Manager to ensure the integrity of systems

Requisites

• Qualifications in Information Technology or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar role
• Windows Server Administration
• Windows 10 building and configuration
• Active Directory Maintenance
• Fiber optic cabling and splicing knowledge
• CAT6 cabling and TCP/IP network troubleshooting and administration
• Demonstrated experience providing IT support in remote areas
• Demonstrated IT Project implementation experience
• Strong judgment and decision making skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Portuguese
• Advanced computer proficiency and experience across the Microsoft Office suite
