Cost Controller

PRI is recruiting a Cost Controller, to be based in Cabo Delgado, Mozambique.

Duties

• Monitoring and control cost activities through all phases of the project life
• Assist in compiling capital cost estimates
• Support the implement of project cost management programs
• Ensure that cost reports are delivered on time and within the guidelines of the project controls processes
• Liaising with engineering, procurement and construction functions, to better coordinate project activities and asses their impact on the project budget
• Issuing project change orders in accordance with engineering and construction notifications

Requisites

• Relevant degree in Business or Engineering
• Proven experience as a Cost Controller preferably in an Engineering Company
• Knowledge of management software packages
• Excellent communication skills
• People management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate others
• Planning and organizing skills
• Proficiency in Portuguese and English
