Graduate Engineer Program (Transportation)

GE is seeking students and graduates to join the Graduate Engineer Program (Transportation), to be based in Maputo.

Duties

• Provide technical guidance to GE Transportation's customers on troubleshooting, material handling, tooling, safety procedures, and contract requirement clarification
• Provide clear communication to GE Transportation's customers on work to be performed, equipment status, productivity, and process improvements
• Work with employees, management and GE Transportation's customers to promote, maintain, and drive continuous improvement in safe work practices while monitoring productivity, quality assurance, and adherence to contract requirements
• Ensure compliance with all governmental regulations, work practices and industry / site specific work rules
• Work with employees, management and GE Transportation's customers on establishing production plans for labor, material and logistics
• Work with various software systems to manage material, labor plans, and other systemic requirements

Requisites

• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Must be fluent in English
• Willingness to travel 20% of time
• Must have legal authorization to work in Mozambique
