Business Development Manager

Global Edge Consultants is hiring a Business Development Manager for Maputo.

Duties

• The first objectives is to sell the company’s Site service (construction rental equipment, small tools, and construction support service) to local , regional and / or multinational contractors and owners, seeking to execute large capital projects
• The second objective is to drive the sales of the company’s Fleet Management Service to owners and users of construction and industrial equipment assets such as lights/heavy vehicles, construction/ mining equipment, Utility fleets, and tools
• The third objective is to sell short term, transactional rental

Requisites

• Tertiary education preferred
• Experience: Minimum 7 years experience in high level sales to the construction / mining industry
• Computer Skills: Fully conversant with Word, Excel and Power Point
• Self starter
• Ability to work without daily supervision
• Strong interpersonal skills, both internal and with clientsTeam player
• Strong negotiation skills
• Strong analytical ability
• Valid drivers’ license and passport
• Ability to travel regionally and internationally
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Portuguese
• All valid documentation to work in Mozambique
