Training Manager

NTU is recruiting a Training Manager to support the development of the programme PRODEPEMES-ESTRADA for Small and Medium Enterprises in road maintenance.

Overall objectives of the program

• To contribute to job creation and promotion
• To contribute to increased agriculture and fisheries production through the provision of improvements to the road network

Specific objectives of the program

• Improve the quality of road maintenance works performed by existing SMEs
• Increase market access to the best performing SMEs

Implementation of the program

• Training program for SME contractors and consultants
• Supporting actions to the SMEs

Requisites

• Degree in civil Engineering or areas related to construction
• Excellent communication in Portuguese
• Proven capacity to prepare and present training modules in the field of construction will be an advantage
• Minimum 5 years experience of management of training programs
• Vocational training experience as trainer will be an advantage
• Recent experience in institutional capacity building in the construction sectors or in programs related to private sector development in the construction sector
• Recent experience in the SME support programs in the construction sector will be an advantage
• Experience in developing countries will be an advantage
