NTU is recruiting a Training Manager to support the development of the programme PRODEPEMES-ESTRADA for Small and Medium Enterprises in road maintenance.
Overall objectives of the program
To contribute to job creation and promotion
To contribute to increased agriculture and fisheries production through the provision of improvements to the road network
Specific objectives of the program
Improve the quality of road maintenance works performed by existing SMEs
Increase market access to the best performing SMEs
Implementation of the program
Training program for SME contractors and consultants
Supporting actions to the SMEs
Requisites
Degree in civil Engineering or areas related to construction
Excellent communication in Portuguese
Proven capacity to prepare and present training modules in the field of construction will be an advantage
Minimum 5 years experience of management of training programs
Vocational training experience as trainer will be an advantage
Recent experience in institutional capacity building in the construction sectors or in programs related to private sector development in the construction sector
Recent experience in the SME support programs in the construction sector will be an advantage
Experience in developing countries will be an advantage
