Truck Driver

US Embassy is recruiting a Truck Driver, to be based in Maputo.

Duties

• Under the supervision of the Facility Management Supervisor, the incumbent operates trucks or other vehicles to transport equipment, material, water and deliver fuel to mission housing IAHB residences

Requisites

• Valid Mozambique Operator’s Permit and License up to and including operation of heavy trucks with trailers, and transportation of liquids to include water and fuels
• Valid Mozambique passport required for transit to/from Swaziland and R.S.A.
• Completion of secondary school is required
• Three years of driving experience is required including operation of vehicles with manual gearbox and 3 or more axles
• Level II (good working knowledge) English is required. Level III (fluent working knowledge) Portuguese is required
