Human Resources Workforce Development Specialist

US Embassy is recruiting a Human Resources Workforce Development Specialist, to be based in Maputo.

Duties

• Incumbent serves as the internal expert on human capacity planning and staff development for CDC
• In this capacity, s/he provides advice and guidance to approximately 80 CDC staff on the development of plans essential to ensuring effective utilization of human resources, staff capacity building and workplace performance awards
• The support services include staff recruitment and the hiring process, human resource planning, including career ladder development, staff training and capacity building
• Manages the Locally Employed staff (LE STAFF) Work and Development Plans (WDP) and training accounts

Requisites

• Bachelor’s degree in social science, education, human resources, business administration, training or management is required
• A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible work experience in a program which includes significant responsibilities in training, recruitment, personnel management, or human capacity planning and staff development is required
• Level III English (fluency in both written and verbal) is required
• Level IV Portuguese (fluency in both written and verbal) is required
