Melt Group is recruiting a Credit Controller, to be based in Maputo.
Duties
Treasury
- Clearing of cheques on SAP for closing as per bank statement
- Confirmation of deposits received by bank
- Explanation for unusual output and input fluctuations
- Explanation of any manual adjustments
- Accurate and timely payments
- No penalties paid due to incorrect or late submission/payment
- Review of daily cash deposit report
- Business Processes
- Accounts receivable accounting & credits
- Ensure customer accounts follow up, clear open items, post credit notes lubes, fuel
- Coordinate relationship with other BU’s and CSC for customer problems solving
- Ensure compliance with trace and escalation process
- Ensure SAP data base maintenance for Customers credit lines
- Ensure follow up month end process for One Card customers
- Chair monthly credit committee meeting, prepare KPI data Past due and compile the monthly report
- Clean aged trial balance before monthly meeting
- Customers’ accounts clearing on daily and monthly basis
- Customer account reconciliation
- Prepare bank reconciliations
- Customer credit application forms new accounts including credit limit approval
- Helps commercial and retail team with customer accounts, customer management
- Prepares daily cash balance
Invoicing
- Prepare and record invoice for mega projects, ensure posting in SAP system and follow up
- Prepare credit notes
Management Reporting
- Prepare TAR report
- Ensure SAP data base maintenance for Customers credit lines
Requisites
- Degree in Finance or Eocnomics
- English level
- Experience of 3 years as Credit Controller
